In the 1950's, when Michael and Joanne emigrated from southern Italy, they brought the values and traditions instilled in them. Years later, when they met each other in northern New Jersey and fell in love, they not only created a beautiful family, but established a small business that would be an extension of their family; one characterized by love of friends, food, and things fatto a mano (made by hand).

Located at 279 Harrison Avenue in a residential area of Garfield, New Jersey, Latona's is a place like no other. Here amid a welcoming, friendly atmosphere, one finds the ingredients necessary for the art of living Italian. Latona's offers a discriminating selection of the finest imported Italian food products, plus an impressive selection of over forty dishes made by hand daily and ready to eat.

Latona's passion for things made and crafted by hand extends beyond the table and into the home. Following a renovation and the addition of Mike and Joanne's son Joe into the family business, Latona's has offered the finest selection of gifts for the home including hand painted tableware by Vietri.
